The doctor carries out the specific dermatological clinical examination, but also the general one, with dermatoscopic evaluation, and integrates the information provided by the patient. In this way, the doctor gives you a correct diagnosis, most often clinical, but there are also situations in which it is necessary to corroborate biological information, such as the usual blood tests or even histopathological examination of a tissue fragment for a correct 100% diagnosis. At the end, the doctor draws up the treatment plan and prescribes indications for oral and/or topical medication, with planning for the next visit for follow-up or treatment.
