What is FOTOFINDER® ATBM MASTER?
FOTOFINDER® ATBM MASTER is a highly accurate digital system for digitally mapping moles. It relies on high resolution images and state-of-the-art software to create a database where melanocytic lesions will be stored for future comparison and analysis. The digital nevus map tells us whether or not there are any changes in pre-existing nevi or if a new lesion has appeared since the last examination, thus detecting any potential risk lesions early on, including melanoma.
The expertise of SKINMED doctors is backed up by the use of FOTOFINDER, a digital tool that allows the analysis of lesions on the body.
Benefits of using FOTOFINDER technology® ATBM MASTER
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The FOTOFINDER® ATBM MASTER full skin surface scan (map) means the analysis of all lesions on the whole body. We will study all the patient's skin lesions from head to toe and monitor even the smallest changes, i.e. the evolution of the nevus over time.
Why FOTOFINDER is needed® ATBM MASTER?
A high-tech imaging method such as digital nevus scanning can help the dermatologist detect new lesions or possible changes in pre-existing ones.
This imaging method improves the early detection of melanoma in a shorter time frame and may even reduce unnecessary excisions, which is especially beneficial for patients with multiple nevi.
