Benefits of Alma Laser Technology Soprano Lasers
How does Alma Lasers Soprano laser technology work?
Alma Lasers Soprano lasers direct energy deep into hair follicles, destroying them and preventing further growth.
3D technology combines the benefits of 3 types of laser wavelengths, which simultaneously penetrate to different depths of the skin, targeting the anatomical structure of the hair follicle.
SHR™ technology delivers repetitive and selective, high-frequency energy pulses using a unique method of gradual heating that prevents damage to surrounding tissues. The result is a fast, safe and painless treatment for all skin types.
ICE Plus™ technology continuously cools the skin for a comfortable, pain-free experience.
How can Alma Lasers Soprano laser technology be used?
Alma Lasers Soprano is aimed at women who want pain-free, permanent body hair removal in an extremely short time, for skin that is always smooth and silky.
It can also be used by any patient suffering from excess hairiness in unwanted areas: cheekbones, upper lip or chin in the case of women, chin or auricle in the case of men.
The use of Alma Lasers Soprano lasers can also treat and/or prevent other skin problems such as folliculitis, the condition that manifests itself in small, unsightly and sometimes painful red spots centred on the hair.

Frequently asked questions
What are the benefits of removing unwanted hair with Alma Lasers Soprano technology?
The state-of-the-art technology used by Alma Lasers Soprano allows for over 95% of hair removal. The treatments are safe for all areas of the body and face and are suitable for all skin and hair types. Treatment sessions are quick and painless, providing impressive results for both women and men.
Which patients can benefit from this treatment?
Anyone can benefit from this revolutionary treatment to remove unwanted hair. There are also medical indications such as folliculitis, associated with traditional epilation techniques, or medical conditions such as hypertrichosis (the presence of excess hair) or hirsutism (the presence of male-pattern hair in women in areas where it does not normally exist, such as the face).
What skin and hair types does the treatment work for?
Alma Soprano is effective for all skin phototypes, including tanned and dark skin. It also targets all hair types, including thin and blonde hair.
How many treatment sessions are needed to remove hairiness?
Alma Lasers Soprano technology guarantees the destruction of over 95% of hair follicles, a result proven by histology studies. For large areas, such as the lower limbs or arms, sessions are recommended every 6-8 weeks, and for small areas, such as the face or underarms, every 4-6 weeks. On average, 6-8 sessions are needed per treatment area, with maintenance every 6-12 months.
Is this procedure definitive?
Yes, hair follicles are irreversibly destroyed by more than 95%. Addition of new hair follicles, which may appear over the years, requires maintenance sessions every 6 months to 1 year.
How long does the procedure take?
Alma Laser's patented QUATRO technology considerably reduces working time, especially for large areas such as the lower limbs. Whereas previously this procedure took 60 to 90 minutes, now the time is halved and the patient has to spend 30-40 minutes in the surgery. For small areas, the treatment time is 10-20 minutes.
Is there a risk of burns associated with this procedure?
No. Soprano's cutting-edge technology and patented ICE Plus™ minimises the risk of burning at the skin's surface, keeping heat in the dermis where hair follicles are targeted. The end of the device that the specialists work with continuously cools the skin surface, preventing superficial burns and pain sensation
What about moles? Is there a risk of skin cancer or other side effects?
Melanocytic lesions are visualized with the dermatoscope and covered during treatment. The risk of transformation of lesions exists only if the treated skin suffers post-treatment burns. Side effects are rare, including erythema, irritation or pigmentation changes.
