The Dye VL module of the Harmony platform is an innovative treatment produced by Alma Lasers that combines the efficiency of a Dye laser with the versatility and increased safety of pulsed light devices.
VL Dye Laser
Effective treatment of vascular lesions
What is the Dye VL laser?
The Dye VL laser is a photothermal technology that treats vascular-based conditions by correcting lesions located throughout the body.
Benefits of DYE VL laser treatment
How does Dye VL work?
Haemoglobin, the target chromophore in vascular lesions, has two absorption maxima, at 540 nm and 570 nm.
With a spectrum between 500 and 600nm, the Dye VL is designed to provide optimal spectral absorption in vascular lesions and to ensure high efficiency, while being a device with an excellent safety profile.
WHAT DISEASES CAN BE TREATED WITH Dye VL LASER?

Frequently asked questions
What is Dye VL and what is it used for?
The Dye VL module of the Harmony platform, produced by Alma Lasers, combines the efficiency of a Dye laser with the versatility and increased safety of pulsed light devices and is aimed at patients with vascular conditions or lesions.
Which areas can be treated?
Dye VL can be used to treat various vascular conditions and injuries to the face, neck or décolletage, as well as the hands or trunk and legs.
How many sessions are needed to achieve the desired results?
Depending on the type of condition treated and the patient's individual response to treatment, 3 to 6 treatment sessions are usually required, spaced 2-3 weeks apart.
What can I expect during treatment?
Before the procedure begins, the skin will be covered with a thin layer of water-based gel. The Dye VL module benefits from built-in cooling, which makes the treatment completely painless, with the patient experiencing at most a slight warming sensation.
How does the skin look after the procedure?
Immediately after treatment, the skin may show a slight rash, but this is of low intensity and transient. No recovery time is required after the procedure and the patient can resume daily activities immediately afterwards.
After how long will I see results?
In the case of superficial lesions, the results can be visible even after the first treatment session, but in the case of deeper lesions, it takes an increased number of sessions before results are observed. In addition, results vary depending on the individual response of each patient.
